Michael Head & The Strands - Demos

Michael Head is one of the two brothers that make up the backbone of Shack, a great and underrated Liverpool band (expect to see posts by them in future) who have been going for well over 20 years. The Strands was a side project of his that released one classic album in 1998. These demos were recorded for that album, although 2 of the songs here were not on the album: Poor Jill and Wanda, which ended up being released as a Shack song. Only listened to these briefly, but the sound quality is very good. Again, not really listened to this long enough to pick favourites, but the band's sole album is excellent so reasonable to expect these songs will be good as well. Recommended to any fans of Shack or existing fans of The Strands.
