The Beatles - Acoustic Submarine

Not really sure the details behind this compilation, but it's a collection of acoustic versions of songs from throughout their career. I assume these are just culled from various sessions, and I wouldn't be surpised if there is a bit of overlap with this and the Esher Demos compilation, posted previously. Again not managed to listen to these (although am gagging to!) so can't comment on sound quality or highlights. However, with this many legendary songs there are bound to be a few classics on here, which in my opinion makes this a worthwile download.

The Beatles - Esher Demos

Have delivered on the Mod and Britpop boasted at the top of the blog, decided to fulfil another one of these witha a Beatles post. These demos were recorded before the White Album (possibly in India, not sure) and are all acoustic, which means different versions of some well-known songs. Most of these ended up on The White Album but some remained urnreleased. Apparently Child Of Nature is an early verison of Jealous Guy. Not properly listened to these but from what I remember the sound quality is pretty good. Obviously can't recommend individual tracks but, hey, its The Beatles, do you need any more incentive than that? Recommended to anyone, especially fans of The White Album.
