This was a recent surprise gig by Lee Mavers, supporting another band in Manchester. It's not technically a La's gig, as it was only Lee and a guy called Gary Murphy, but the setlist is entirely comprised of La's tunes, so it seems fair to label it a La's gig to me. Exciting times though, as apparently a La's facebook, twitter etc. have all been set up in the last few days, as well as this gig happening. Maybe that mythical second album is finally on the cards? The audio from this gig was recorded by Chris, thanks go to him for his hard work and apologies to him for not giving credit until now. The sound quality is fairly good, although the shouting between songs is quite loud. Hard to pick favourites from this setlist as almost every song is a classic. Recommended.
